A letter from Marla Petrocelli

Thank you for inviting myself and my Family to the Annual Easton Little League picnic.

It is such an honor for us and it means so much for us to be included.

I really enjoyed being able to give the sportsmanship award in honor of my Dad.

Thank you so very much.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING RECALL

2009 Easton Little League Bat Policy

Easton Little League prohibits the use of all Composite bats and Multi-walled bats of any material.  This applies to all league games and practices.
Should you have any questions regarding the legality of a bat, please bring them to your manager's attention
BEFORE purchase  and use.
Aluminum bats with the Little League stamp and all wooden bats are allowed.

ELL Wooden Bat Transition Policy

The Easton Little League voted prior to this season to make a transition from aluminum bats to wooden bats. This is a result potential dangerous situations that develop through the use of aluminum bats. Within our state, the tri-state area and nationally, there are incidents each season of serious or near serious injuries due to aluminum bat play.

This year both Tball and Rookies leagues are the first groups to use new league provided wooden bats. As these groups move up each season[Rookies to AA, etc], and as new younger players join the league, they will continue to use wooden bats throughout the ELL season.

Congrats to the winning team of Mem. Day Tournament!
